The most engaging activity I did during my time off was Beth's job search team in New York.

My team included people ranging in age from mid-20’s to me in my mid-50’s. They were from all backgrounds - consumer products, finance, high tech, not profit, etc. Beth was a fantastic facilitator and was quickly able to bring the group together and still guide each person in the right direction. We fine tuned our 2 minute stories, resumes, our STAR stories, and our "presence." We helped each other with new ideas and feedback. Being with the group gave needed encouragement because job search has its ups and downs. My attitude, confidence, and motivation were reinforced which carried over directly to my job search activity. Within a month of our last group meeting, I got two great offers and have entered the next exciting stage of my career. I will stay in touch with my job search team members to see where they land and watch their careers progress.
